Type host: Troglodytes aedon Vieillot ( Passeriformes : Troglodytidae ). Type locality: USA.

Host range and distribution. Metastenoxenous species associated with Thryomanes bewickii (Audubon) ( Passeriformes : Troglodytidae ) in USA ( Skoracki et al. 2014a), Troglodytes aedon Vieillot ( Troglodytidae ) in USA ( Skoracki et al. 2010b), and Cardellina pusilla (Wilson) ( Passeriformes : Parulidae ) in USA ( Skoracki et al. 2014a).
