Etymology Gr micridris HNS , small and knowing one.
Diagnosis Unique, distinguished in the major by the very small size; circular head shape in full-face view; eyes set far forward in the head; raised promesonotum that drops through a long, steep face to the metanotum; conate postpetiole; restriction of carinulae to the frontal lobes and antennal fossae; and completely foveolate head and mesosoma. Minor: unknown.
Measurements (mm) Holotype major: HW 0.64, HL 0.64, SL 0.34, EL 0.12, PW 0.32. Color Major: dark yellow, with gaster a shade darker of brownish yellow.
Range Known only from the type locality.
Biology The type specimen was collected from a "red rotten" log on the floor of terra firme forest.
Figure Unique holotype, major. PERU: Cuzco Amazonico, 15 km northeast of Puerto Maldonado, Madre de Dios (Stefan Cover and John E. Tobin). Minor unknown. Scale bar = 1 mm.
