- Females have a disproportionally swollen foretibia, more or less for the apical 0.6 of the foretibia, a feature unique within the family (but see Sinhalohelea above). The feature was previously presented by Borkent et al. (2008b: character 12). Although initially presented without differentiation between male and female; in fact, it is only the female that has this feature. In other taxa, the foretibia may be wider apically but as a gradual widening from its base or with other configurations.
