Diagnosis.
Recognized by the following set of characters: dorsum with a mottled, dark brownish yellow coloration (Fig. 6); pronotal collar indistinct; femora entirely blackish, except for pale yellow annulation at basal one third of mesofemur.
Most similar to Xenocylapidius acutipennis , Xenocylapidius bioculatus , Xenocylapidius gemellus , and Xenocylapidius tamasi in sharing mottled dorsal coloration (Figs 1, 4, 5-6, 8). Xenocylapidius gressitti can, however, be distinguished by the coloration of femora.
