Neotype (Townsend in Davis, Fl. Turkey 7: 638. 1982): Herb. Tournefort, " Parietaria cretica minor, capsulis seminum alatis, Tournefort" ( P-TOURN) .

Current name: Parietaria cretica L. View in CoL ( Urticaceae ).

Note: In the absence of any original material, Townsend’s treatment of a Tournefort collection as the holotype is corrected to a neotype in accordance with Art. 9.8.
