Summary. Carpophilus (Ecnomorphus) jahari Dasgupta et Pal , sp. n. is described from

Arunachal Pradesh in Northeastern India. New species is similar to C. (E.) plagiatipennis

Motschulsky, 1858 and C. (E.) signatus Grouvelle, 1908 but differs from both by the structure of male genitalia.
