Material examined. Samchunpo-si (34°55′34.78″N, 128° 04′22.04″E), Korea: from a fish market; collected by SH Kim on 18 September 2014.
Deposition. NIBRIV0000905116.
World distribution. China, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, India, East Africa, Madagascar, Mediterranean Sea, and Korea.
Diagnosis. Carapace smooth, with cross-shaped light mark. Front with 6 triangular teeth and anterolateral margin with 6 teeth. Chelipeds stout, asymmetrical. Merus armed with 3 strong teeth on anterior margin. Palm with 4 stout spines on outer dorsal margin. Carapace length of the male 95 mm, breadth 125 mm.
Remarks. This specimen found from the fish market in Samchunpo-si. However, it is not clear whether this specimen was directly collected from the South Sea of Korea.
