Capsule elliptic, 5–7.5 × 3–3.5 mm. Seeds 2 or 3 per locule, uniseriate, rectangular to oblong, 1.5–2 × 1–1.1 mm; testa variously ridged and furrowed; hilum linear; embryotega semidorsal.

Specimens examined: –– Assam, Dibrugarh district, s.die, G. Panigrahi s.n. (ASSAM). Lower Subansiri district , Near Hapoli , 1 October 1959, G. Panigrahi 19840 (ASSAM). Tinsukia district , Dibru reserve , 20 October 1960, G. Panigrahi 21620 (ASSAM) . Meghalaya, Jaintia hills district, way to Jowai , 7 September 2011, Anna Ancy Antony & Santhosh Nampy 4622 ( DEV) .
