Remarks.
This species is divided into two subspecies, W. flavolineatus flavolineatus and W. f. nigroscutellatus (Habermehl, 1925). The latter subspecies has been recorded from Germany and Netherlands ( Habermehl 1925; Teunissen 1948). Klopfstein (2014) noted this subspecies could not be examined by her because type specimens were not available. Judging from the original description of the latter ( Habermehl 1925), this subspecies could readily be synonymized under the former.
