Comments.
This large arboreal skink occurs across all southwestern Angola. Trachylepis binotata is usually associated with Mopane woodland habitats and was widely recorded in the country ( Marques et al. 2018; Ceríaco et al. 2024). In our study area, it was only found in the Mopane-dominated localities at the base of the inselberg.
