Pararhabdepyris paradoxus Gorbatovskii, 1995
Diagnosis. Female. Body length 2.5–2.6 mm; body black, mandible, legs, and tegula castaneous; first four antennal segments in ratio of about 6.5:3:2:2; eye covered with short hairs; WH 1.3x LH; WF 1.19x HE; WF 0.52x WH; OOL 1.27x WOT; VOL 0.31x HE; frontal angle of ocellar triangle obtuse; vertex straight; notaulus (see remark) and scutellar groove deep; propodeal disc with lateral, posterior carinae, median carina complete; wings covered with short hairs; forewing with radial vein 4 times longer than basal vein.
Remarks. Gorbatovskii (1995) described the genus as having “Щит срсп. с хорошо выраженными парапс” (=mesoscutum with well-defined parapsidal furrows), which we assumed to be the notauli according to Evans’ terminology.
