M a t e r i a l e x a m i n e d. Tehran Province: Kandovan tunnel (36°09ʹ01˝ N, 51°18ʹ38˝ E, 2982 m), 3– 4.07.1995. East Azerbaijan Province: near Hashtrud (37°29ʹ34˝ N, 47°02ʹ59˝ E, 1676 m), 18.06.2005. Kohgiluyeh & Boyerahmad Province: Vazag 15S E of Yasuj (30°33ʹ40˝ N, 51°41ʹ20˝ E, 1924 m), 18.06.2003 ( Linnavuori, 2007, 2009).
D i a g n o s i s. Long — oval, light gray to greenish whitish gray. Pubescence fine and dark with fine light hair especially in the front part. Head wider than in its height. First antennal segment 0.62–0.69× as long as width of the head, hairs on it black and thick; second antennal segment 1.5–1.7× as long as the pronotum. Tegula black or dark brown. Hind leg in the apical part with small brown spots. Tibia with fine, black spines. The rostrum reaches the middle of the middle coxa.
Length: male 7.3–7.5 mm.
C o m m e n t s. This species has been collected on gently sloping hillsides with plants such as Asteraceae , Astragalus , Phlomis , Thymus and Verbascum . It is known from Azerbaijan ( Linnavuori, 2007).
