Ochthebius (Ochthebius) punctatus Stephens, 1829 View in CoL

The species was recorded in Sinai by Peyerimhoff (1907), Orchymont (1927) and Alfieri (1976) and it is very common ( Peyerimhoff 1907). The distribution of this species is restricted to Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco ( Hansen 1998; Jäch 2004) and the previous records in Egypt need confirmation ( Hansen 1998).
