Holotyp e (NMNH), examined.

Diagnosis.
1.9 mm, 3.0 × as long as wide ( Wood 1982). This species is distinguished by the elytral apex attenuate and weakly emarginate, declivital interstriae 2 convex, declivital interstriae 1 and 3 denticulate and interstriae 2 unarmed, elytral apex deeply emarginate, and declivity steep, occupying less than posterior 40% of declivity.
Similar species.
C. cuneatus , C. galacatosae .
Distribution.
Costa Rica (Cartago).
Biology.
The holotype was collected from a fence post ( Wood 1982).
