Distribution. A. rectifolia is the most abundant and common species of the genus Arantia . According to Hemp & Massa (2017) it is probably widely distributed throughout West and Central Africa (records from Burkina Faso, Cameroon, CAR, Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo).
