Material examined. CAR. Dzanga-Sangha SR, Camp 3, in a little baï, 6–7.II.2005 (light), P. Annoyer (1♀); Camp 1, 12.X.2008, 15.X.2008 (hand catching), 17–18.X.2008 (light), P. Annoyer (1♂, 3♀) ( BMPC & PAPC) .

Distribution. Described from West Coast of Africa (Chinchoxa), E. acutipennis is known also from Nigeria ( Eluwa 1978); records from CAR are new.
