Material examined. Holotype ♀: COLOMBIA, Finca los Guaduales, n[ea]r San Jose del Palmar , 730–800 m, 1.VI.1978, C. Kugler col. ( MCZH, 32748 ).
Diagnosis. FEMALE ( Fig. 121 View FIGURES 121 – 131. 121 – 123 ). Black. Mandible wide apically, with five apical teeth ( Fig. 122 View FIGURES 121 – 131. 121 – 123 ). Clypeus with short, rounded median lobe. Antennal scrobe with vertical carinate over torulus. Frons coriaceous. Vertex slightly convex, corner bulging. Pronotal disc not carinate; anterior corner rounded; posterior margin paralleled by series of punctures. Scutellar pit transverse. Mesopleuron with subtegular groove wide; anterior fovea subtriangular; upper fovea subrounded, only upper margin defined; lower fovea with upper margin little defined, lower margin irregular and toothed ( Fig. 123 View FIGURES 121 – 131. 121 – 123 ). MALE unknown.
