Type material. Holotype in NHMUK, examined.
Distribution. Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Botswana, Guinea, S. Africa ( Fletcher 1968; Vári et al. 2002). New record for Burundi.
Material examined: 51 ♂, Urundi, Kitega , 24.04.1962, Dr. M. Fontaine .
