Type species. Archirhagio obscurus Rohdendorf, 1938
Diagnosis. Body large and stout. Eyes bare, dichoptic. Wing elongated, vein C ending at wing tip; veins Sc, R1 and R2+3 long; vein Rs and distance between beginning of vein R2+3 and crossvein r-m much shorter than distance between crossvein r-m and beginning of vein R4; vein CuA1 long, arising from cell bm (basal medial); vein CuP well visible. Mouth of cell sc much longer than that of cells r1 and r2+3 together; cell d slen- der, subequal to vein M 1 in length; five posterior cells wide open, cell cup narrowly open ( Mostovski 1997, Nagatomi & Yang 1998).
Stratigraphic and geographic range. Middle/Upper Jurassic of Kazakhstan and Middle Jurassic of China.
