Description. Male: Length (holotype): body 1.2 mm, wing 1.4 mm. Head: Frons and face dark metallic green, with brownish pruinosity; eyes converging below antennae and almost contiguous; palpus black with a small spinelike apical seta; antenna dark brown; first flagellomere triangular, twice as long as high; arista inserted basally ( Sympycnus like); lower postoculars black. Thorax: Mesonotum and scutellum dark metallic green, with brownish pruinosity; 5 strong dc; ac biseriate; scutellum with 2 strong marginal setae and 2 small lateral setae; pleura dark brown shining. Legs: Dark brown, but trochanters and tibiae yellow. Fore leg: coxa with anterior setae; femur with av and pv row of pale setae, shorter than diameter of femur; tibia with small ad seta at 1/3; basitarsus compressed laterally, with ventral row of short spine-like setulae; relative podomere ratios: 52, 50, 15/12/10 /9/8. Mid leg: coxa with some anterior setae; femur with strong anterior preapical seta, and row of av setae on entire length, shorter than diameter of femur; tibia with 1 strong and long ad seta at 1/4, 2 smaller pd setae at 1/5 and 2/3, and 3 apical setae; relative podomere ratios: 54, 66, 32/ 19/13/10 /9. Hind leg: coxa with 1 strong lateral seta; femur with strong anterior preapical seta; tibia with 1 small ad seta at 1/3, 2 smaller pd setae at 1/3 and 2/3, 1 strong curved dorsoapical seta, and 2 small apical setae; relative podomere ratios: 66, 72, 16/24/ 15/13/9. Wing: Hyaline; R4+5 and M parallel; CuAx ratio: 0.4; RMx ratio: 1.5; lower calypter ochreous brown with fan of dark brown setae; halter yellow. Abdomen: Dark metallic green, with brownish pruinosity; epandrium and surstylus dark brown, cercus yellowish. Hypopygium ( Figs. 6 View FIGURE 6 A–B): hypandrium tapering in distal half, with pointed apex; epandrial lobe Mshaped; ventral lobe of surstylus small, with apical seta; dorsal lobe of surstylus L-shaped, with small setulae; postgonite narrow, with long dorsal seta; cercus small. Female: Unknown.
