Diagnosis. Small, dark metallic species with body length 1.2–2.5 mm. Eyes converging below antennae, almost contiguous in males; fronto-clypeal suture not present; scape bare; first flagellomere triangular, with basodorsal arista; mesonotum with depression in front of scutellum; hind tibia with strong dorsoapical seta; hypopygium pedunculate and enlarged.
