CONTEXT AND CONTENT. Order Chiroptera , suborder Yangochiroptera , superfamily Noctilionoidea , family Phyllostomidae , subfamily Desmodontinae , tribe Diphyllini . The genus Diphylla is monotypic ( Simmons 2005; Baker et al. 2016; Burgin et al. 2020).
