Material examined. Argentina, Buenos Aires (5, MACN) ; Argentina, Salta (1, MACN) .
Distribution. Argentina: Tucumán, Buenos Aires, Catamarca, La Rioja, Mendoza and Misiones; South America: Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay. This species is native to the paleartic region. It has been introduced to all continents and is found in almost all temperate and subtemperate regions around the world ( Hayward 1960; Wood & Bright 1992; Knížek 2011; Smith & Cognato 2014; Córdoba & Atkinson 2018).
