C o m m e n t: The original description is based on an unspecified number of syntypes from " Ceylan " ( KRAATZ 1859). A male in good condition, which had been dissected prior to the present study, is designated as the lectotype. It is in agreement with the interpretation of LOHSE (1964), but evidently not with that of COIFFAIT (1984). The primary and secondary sexual characters of the lectotype are illustrated in Figs 3-5 View Figs 1-5 . The species is newly reported from Kazakhstan.
