14. Cheumatopsyche chinensis View in CoL species group

The species in this species group have a simple segment X, and dorsad curving, usually spiny apices of apicoventral setal lobes ( Fig. 14). The apicoventral setal lobes dominate the ventral parts of segment X, and are fused with segment X except at apices. Apex of segment X has a very narrow and shallow dorsal interlobular gap, or a convex setaless mesocaudal lobe, visible in dorsal view. The lateral setose areas form pair of elevated warts. The harpagones are usually broad. The species are widely distributed in the Oriental, East-Palearctic and Afrotropical regions. Some species, like C. albomaculata (Ulmer) , C. amurensis Martynov , C. chinensis (Martynov) , C. processuata (Martynov) are widely distributed.
