12. Cheumatopsyche mahakaya species group
Species in this group have all a simple segment X, with a narrow and shallow apicomesal incision ( Fig. 12). The apex of segment X curves dorsad in lateral view. The harpagones are filiform. All species have asymmetrical protarsal claws, laterally flanked by setal bundle, except C. joariva , new species whose protarsal claws are symmetrical, but flanked by setal bundle. This species group is distributed in Madagascar with 9 new species.
