New Record: GHANA: Kumasi , 18.v.1967, light [S. Endrödy] — 1 male ( HNHM, in alcohol) ; GHANA: Kumasi , 25.v.1967, light [S. Endrödy] — 1 male ( HNHM, in alcohol) ; GHANA: Kumasi , 3.vi.1967, light [S. Endrödy] — 1 male ( OPC, in alcohol) .
Remark: The type locality of C. striata Jacquemart 1959 is Congo; type (in ISNB) examined. According to Gibbs (1973) C. striata with a white-patterned forewing is doubtfully distinct, and it is here synonymised with C. sexfasciata .
