Remarks: Hydropsychodes brunnea Jacquemart, 1963 is a junior homonym of Cheumatopsyche brunnea Jacquemart, 1961 , and is renamed as suggested by Scott (1983), because Hydropsychodes is now in synonymy
with Cheumatopsyche . Cheumatopsyche jacquemarti is here proposed as a new replacement name for Hydropsychodes brunnea Jacquemart, 1963 . Examination of the permanent microscopic preparation of a paratype (wings, cleared genitalia, remaining part of the cleared body) (ISNB) revealed the bilobed segment X, although it is strongly flattened and distorted.
