Cheumatopsyche kim Oláh & Johanson , new species
Fig. 36, 71–74
This species is morphologically similar to C. criseyde Malicky from Thailand, but the setaless mesocaudal lobe on segment X is obtuse, not triangular; the apicoventral setal lobes are both armed with a subapical, dorsal, setal wart visible in lateral and dorsal view. The harpagones are not convex basally, but tapering evenly and gradually.
Male. Body and wings pale light brown with brown pubescence. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as segments I–IV together. Head dorsum darker brown, with 9 light setal warts. Proepisternum without swollen setal wart. Protarsal claws asymmetrical, laterally flanked by setal bundle. Forewing length 6.2 mm, hind wing length 4.4 mm. Hind wing fork I present in some but absent in most individuals.
Male genitalia. Abdominal segment IX fused annularly; tergum short, sternum twice as long as tergum ( Fig. 71); anterior margin of segment IX regularly convex in lateral view ( Fig. 71); apical lobe on posterolateral margins slightly developed, located immediately above base of coxopodites; posterolateral margin nearly straight; spinose row on posterior margin of segment IX interrupted, continuous on posterolateral margins and present on tergal corners ( Fig. 71). Intersegmental step between segment IX and segment X shallow, obtusely angled ( Fig. 71). Segment X short, slightly narrowing distad; dorsal margin concave along its length ( Fig. 71); trilobed in dorsal view ( Fig. 72); apex of setaless dorsomesal lobes obtuse in dorsal view ( Fig. 72). Apicoventral setal lobes curving dorsad in lateral view ( Fig. 71), armed with 2 strong setae with elevated alveoli; originating from ventrodistal corners of segment X. Lateral setose areas forming elevated warts clearly visible in dorsal view ( Fig. 72). Transverse and longitudinal sutures welldeveloped. Coxopodites about double as long as segment X, exceeding well beyond apex of segment X; straight, apices dilating in lateral and ventral view ( Fig. 71, 73); slightly curving mesad in ventral view ( Fig. 73). Harpagones slender, gradually tapering along their lengths ( Fig. 71, 73); curving dorsal along their lengths in lateral view; weakly curving m,esad in ventral view. Phallothecal dorsum nearly straight ( Fig. 74); sclerotised endothecal process ovoid; phallotremal sclerites sickle-shaped in lateral view; vestigial membranous endothecal lobes visible on less sclerotised apicoventral corner.
