Type locality: Philippines .
Remarks: This species was placed only tentatively in the genus Cheumatopsyche . However, examination of the paratypes (in ZMHB) has confirmed its placement. According to the wing venation and genital structure it is a Cheumatopsyche in spite of the presence of a modified, vestigial median setal wart on the head, and the unique endothecal terminalia.
