Remarks. The species of this group are well characterized by a robust body, the rostrum in lateral view distinctly tapered from antennal insertion to apex, globose and prominent eyes, pronotum usually somewhat transverse and distinctly constricted at its apex, elytra distinctly convex and metafemora with robust tooth.
