Material examined. 2 males and 2 females, Hupingshan, Shimen, Hunan, 17–18 Aug. 2004, coll. Jian-Feng Wang; 1 male, Emeishan, Sichuan, 26 Jul. 2011, coll. Fu-Ming Shi.

Redescription. Male. Stridulatory area of left tegmen long oval, 3.48 mm long, 1.84 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 O); stridulatory file on underside of left tegmen concave and slightly curved, 1.57 mm long; teeth slightly dense in basal fifth; with 138–158 teeth ( Figs. 4 View FIGURE 4 E, 11N); mirror roughly oval, 3.67 mm long, 1.91 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 P). Cerci long, reaching apex of subgenital plate ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 E); baso-interal side expanded; strongly curved inwards in apical third and then slightly curled upwards; apex with a wide, slightly curved, sclerotized tooth ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 G). Phallus with two pairs of sclerites: lateral sclerites long, sheet-shaped, top denticulate; medial sclerites small, bilobate, dorsal lobe longer and denticulate, ventral lobe rather shorter. Subgenital plate rather long, surpassing apex of subgenital plate; curved dorsally before middle; lateral carinae distinct on ventral surface; basal part broad and medial area narrow, apical part widened, posterior margin longitudinally split into two lobes directed outwards ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 F).

Female. Similar to male in general appearance. Cerci short, conical. Ovipositor short and wide, curved upwards, with small denticles on dorsal and apico-ventral margins ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 H). Subgenital plate rounded-triangular, medial carina distinct on ventral surface, apex excised widely, with a medial lobe at bottom, and not longer than lateral lobes ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 I). (The female is the first description).

Color. Body yellowish green. Pronotum with large brown dots on disc and in dorsal area of paranota; tegmen with large brown dots in centre of cells in lateral field, a rather large dark spot almost occupies dorsal field of male left tegmen; numerous red dots on abdominal tergites and several red dots on lateral sides of femora, sparse brown dots on lateral sides of posttibiae; male tibial tympana with brown conchate fold and lateral black stripes on basal dorsum.
