( Figures 1 View FIGURE 1 J, 3G, 5F–I, 7S, 9I –J, 11D)

Type material. Holotype: male, Tian’e, Guangxi, 8 Aug. 2002, coll. Guo-Fang Jiang. Paratype: 1 male (conserved in alcohol), Jinzhongshan, Longlin, Guangxi, 28 Jul. 2014, coll. Zhi-Lin Chen.

Description. Male. Body medium. Fastigium verticis narrower than scapus, moderately sloping anteriorly, dorsally furrowed, sinuate upper edge in lateral view, separated from fastigium frontis. Pronotum with anterior margin approximately straight, posterior margin broadly rounded, three transverse sulci distinct and medial carina interrupted by second sulcus, which Y-shaped; paranota longer than deep, anterior margin slightly concave, ventral and posterior margins moderately rounded, humeral sinus distinct. Procoxae unarmed; all femora with dorsum smoothly and longitudinal groove on venter, profemur with 4 minute spines on ventro-internal margin, mesofemur with 3 spines on ventro-external margin, and postfemur with 5 spines on ventro-external margin, all genicular lobes without spines; protibiae with internal tympanum covered by a conchate fold, external tympanum free, widened at and abruptly constricted below tympana. Tegmen faintly widened behind middle, apex broadly rounded, extending beyond apex of postfemur, Rs branching before the middle of radius, 2 branches; hind wings longer than tegmina.

Stridulatory area of left tegmen oval, 2.21 mm long, 1.42 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 I); stridulatory file on underside of left tegmen concave and curved, 1.24 mm long; teeth faint in basal fifth; with 148–160 teeth ( Figs. 3 View FIGURE 3 G, 11D); mirror oval, 2.52 mm long, 1.57 mm wide ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 J). Tenth abdominal tergite with posterior margin concave; epiproct long tongue-shaped, dorsally furrowed; cerci short and stout, basal part wide, posteriorly narrowing, not reaching apex of subgenital plate ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 F), strongly curved inwards in less more than apical third, apex compressed laterally with a minute apical tooth ( Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5 H, 7S); phallus with a pair of long lateral sclerites, which wide in basal part, rather narrow in distal part, directing upwards, deeply constricted on external side at subapex, terminal twisted slightly ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 I). Subgenital plate curved dorsally before middle; medial carina short and lateral carinae long on ventral surface; basal part broad and medial area slightly narrow, apical part widened, posterior margin longitudinally split into two wide lobes ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 G).

Color. Specimen preserved in alcohol, body slightly faded. Pronotum with a pair of large brown dots on disc between first and second sulci, small brown dots on almost all areas; some red dots in dorsal area of paranota; tegmen with some large black dots in centre of cells in lateral field, a rather large brown spot occupies stridulatory area of left tegmen; numerous red dots on abdominal tergites; tibial tympana with lateral black stripes on basal dorsum; sclerites of phallus and cerci with brown apices.

Female. Unknown.

Measurements (mm). Male. Body: 15.5; body with wings: 29.0; pronotum: 3.7; tegmen length: 22.5; tegmen width: 4.4; hind wing: 26.0; profemur: 3.3; mesofemur: 4.8; postfemur: 11.0.

Etymology. The species is named for the shape of peculiar apex of lateral sclerites of phallus.

Remarks. The new species resembles other Mirollia species in appearance, but is distinctly distinguished by male phallus sclerites.

Distribution. China (Guangxi).
