Type locality. North east of the Azores (44°20’N 19°31’W).

Material examined. Coral Sea. 1 small male, 10 mm, dissected 5 slides, AM P.68512, due east of Mooloolaba, Queensland (26°36.23'S 153°50.23'E), 1006 m, baited trap, 2–3 August 1994, coll. J.K. Lowry and K. Dempsey, MV Capricorn I (trap 3, stn QLD-1141).

Depth range. 750−4500 m depth ( Thurston, 2001).

Remarks. Material examined here extends the distribution of C. bouvieri to the South Pacific Ocean.
