Elsewhere in North America, adults were captured in open fields and pastures, in organic debris including dead grass, in caribou, horse and cow dung, in open marsh, maple/beech forest, the edge of an oak forest, and in the nest of Microtus pennsylvanicus (Ord) ( Klimaszewski et al. 2007a, 2011).
