A Taiwanese species Psylla formosana Yang, 1984 View in CoL , which feeds on Hedera rhombea var. formosana (Nakai) Li (Araliaceae) View in CoL ( Yang 1984) and should be transferred to the
genus Cacopsylla in the future, is probably most closely related to or perhaps a junior synonym of C. toroenensis .
Distribution. Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu), Taiwan.
Host plant. Hedera rhombea (Miq.) Bean (Araliaceae) ( Miyatake 1964a).
