This species corresponds to the Japanese population that has been identified as a European species Psylla melanoneura Foerster, 1848 View in CoL , formerly ( Inoue 2004a).
Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu).
Host plant. Swida controversa (Hemsl.) Soják ( Cornaceae ) ( Inoue 2004a).
