Family COSTELLARIIDAE MacDonald, 1860 View in CoL
REMARK
Costellariidae View in CoL is a diverse family of carnivorous gastropods that are widely distributed in tropical and temperate latitudes today with some genera being infaunal ( Fedosov et al. 2015, 2017; Vermeij 2017). The phylogenetic relationships have shown the family to be monophyletic ( Fedosov et al. 2015), and the generic taxonomy was rearranged by Fedosov et al. (2017).
