Life cycle: Hi1: Heleobia castellanosae (Gaillard) (natural host) from Zoological Garden of Buenos Aires city and H. piscium (d'Orbigny) (experimental host). Hi2: Cnesterodon decemmaculatus (Jenyns) (experimental and natural host), Gambusia affinis (Baird & Girard) and Phalloceros caudimaculatus (Hensel) from Zoological Garden of Buenos Aires city (natural hosts).
