Type Locality: Philippines, NW Luzon Isl, Mt Data, 7000-8000 ft (2130-2440 m).

Vernacular Names: Large Luzon Carpomys.

Distribution: Greater Luzon Faunal Region in the Philippines. Known only from Mt Data, but probably occurs in other forested highlands of N Luzon.

Conservation: IUCN – Data Deficient.
