Distribution: Pantropical.
Records in Mexico: Oaxaca and Quintana Roo.
Biogeographic province: Sierra Madre del Sur. Sierra Madre Oriental. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Mangrove, moss. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Soil in acahual and coffee plantations. Soil and litter outside a cave.
