Distribution: Tropical and subtropical.
Records in Mexico: Veracruz, Quintana Roo and Campeche.
Biogeographic province: Veracruzan. Yucatan Peninsula.
Habitat: Mangrove litter, decaying trunk. Deep litter. Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Low flooded rainforest leaf litter.
