Distribution: Neotropical.

Records in Mexico: Quintana Roo and Michoacan.

Biogeographic province: Yucatan Peninsula. Transmexican Volcanic Belt.

Habitat: Leaf litter and soil of medium sub evergreen forest, lowland forest, mangrove and halophyte vegetation. Pinus michoacana and Quercus rugosa forest.
