( Figs 7 View FIGURES 1 – 12 , 112–116 View FIGURES 112 – 116 )
Diagnosis. Frons blackish brown except for yellow anterior margin, with a pair of blackish brown stripes, extending to ocellar triangle. Face grayish brown with a short brown transverse band along ventral margin. Antenna yellow except for 1st flagellomere black on dorsal 1/2. Mesonotum with two brown medial stripes and two brown lateral stripes behind transverse suture. Wing with apical spot on R2+3 confluent with brown medial spot on R4+5; two brown spots present between r-m and apical spot on R4+5; brown cloud on dm-cu slightly separated from medial spot on R4+5; brown cloud on r-m separated from brown spot on tip of R1. Male tergites 3–6 (female 3–7) each with a black rectangular medial stripe-like spot and a pair of brown lateral spots.
Description. MALE. Body length 3.1–4.0 mm, wing length 3.8–3.9 mm. FEMALE. Body length 3.3–3.8 mm, wing length 4.0– 4.1 mm.
Head yellow. Frons blackish brown except for yellow anterior margin, with grayish pruinosity, as long as wide and parallel-sided; with a pair of blackish brown stripes, extending to ocellar triangle; ocellar triangle grayish black; oc slightly longer than anterior or and anterior or longer than 1/2 of posterior or. Face grayish brown with a short brown transverse band near ventral margin; parafacial yellow with black inner margin. Gena about 1/4 height of eye. Antenna yellow except for 1st flagellomere black on dorsal 1/2, 1.7 times longer than high; arista black except for brownish base, ray pubescent and very short, with longest ray as long as 1/4 height of 1st flagellomere. A brown triangular spot present between base of antenna and eye. Proboscis and palpus yellow.
Thorax black with dense grayish pruinosity. Mesonotum with two brown medial stripes and two brown lateral stripes behind suture, postpronotum pale yellow and a brown irregular spot behind postpronotum; 0+3 dc (1st postsutural dc close to transverse suture), acr in 6 rows and prsc shorter than 1st post-sutural dc. Legs yellow except for mid and hind femora brownish yellow and all tarsomeres 3–5 brown. Fore femur with 3–4 pv, 5–6 pd, and ctenidium with 14 short setae; fore tibia with 1 long preapical ad and 1 short apv. Mid femur with 6 a and 1 app; mid tibia with 1 strong preapical ad, 2 strong apv. Hind femur with 1 weak preapical ad; hind tibia with 1 preapical ad and 1 short apv. Wing ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 12 ) with apical spot on R2+3 confluent with brown medial spot on R4+5; apical spot on R4+5 separated from preapical spot on M1, two brown spots between r-m and apical spot on R4+5; crossed base of R2+3 and R4+5 brown; brown cloud on dm-cu slightly separated from brown medial spots on R4+5; brown cloud on r-m separated from brown spot on R1; subcostal cell brown apically; costa with 2nd (between R1 and R2+3), 3rd (between R2+3 and R4+5) and 4th (between R4+5 and M1) sections in proportion of 3.6:1.6:1; r-m before middle of discal cell; ultimate and penultimate sections of M 1 in proportion of 1:1.6; ultimate section of CuA1 about 1/13 of penultimate. Halter yellow.
Abdomen yellow with sparse grayish pruinosity, male tergites 3–6 (female 3–7) each with a black rectangular medial stripe-like spot and a pair of brown lateral spots. Male genitalia ( Figs 112–116 View FIGURES 112 – 116 ): syntergosternite semicircular; epandrium broad with four pairs of long dorsal setae; surstylus wide triangular in ventral view but narrow with several apical setulae in lateral view; hypandrium nearly H-shaped with a triangular middle ventral segment, postgonite subuliform; aedeagus broad with a pair of furcated lateral processes at middle in ventral view; aedeagal apodeme Y-shaped, shorter than aedeagus.
Type material. Holotype ♂ ( CAUC), CHINA, Zhejiang Province: Longquan, Fengyangshan National Nature Reserve, Huangmaojian, 1929 m, 27. VII. 2007, Yajun Zhu. Paratypes: CHINA, Zhejiang Province: 1 ♂, 2 ♀ ( CAUC), data same as holotype; 4 ♂, 5 ♀ ( CAUC), Longquan, Fengyangshan National Nature Reserve, Huangmaojian, 1929 m, 29. VII. 2007, Yajun Zhu.
Distribution. China (Zhejiang).
Remarks. The new species is similar to Homoneura (Homoneura) zhejiangensis sp. nov. from China (Zhejiang) in the following characters: similar colors and patterns of frons, face and mesonotum; wing with two brown spots between r-m and apical spot on R4+5, brown apical spots on R4+5 separated from spot on M1, brown clouds on r-m and dm-cu, subcostal cell brown apically; abdominal male tergites 3–6 (female 3–7) each with a black stripe-like medial spot and a pair of brown lateral spots. But it can be separated from the latter by the following characters: the hind femur being brownish yellow; the apical spot on R1 being separated from the brown cloud on r-m, the subapical spot on R4+5 being separated from the brown cloud on dm-cu; the epandrium with four pairs of dorsal setae and a tiny tooth on ventral margin; the surstylus being triangular in ventral view. In H. (H.) zhejiangensis , the hind femur is black except for the yellow tip; the apical spot on R1 is confluent with the brown cloud on r-m, the subapical spot on R4+5 is confluent with the brown cloud on dm-cu; the epandrium has three pairs of dorsal setae; the surstylus has three acute processes in ventral view.
Etymology. The species is named after the type locality Fengyangshan.
