The Charipinae are a major group of hyperparasitoids of Braconidae (Aphidiinae) View in CoL and Aphelinidae (Aphelininae) View in CoL ( Hymenoptera View in CoL ) that parasitise aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae ) ( Paretas-Martínez et al. 2007). The recent revision of Charipinae from New Zealand ( Ferrer-Suay et al. 2012) forms the basis for the below information.
