DISTRIBUTION: Java; Sumatra; Moluccas; Sulawesi.

COMMENT: May include doriae; Laurie and Hill, 1954:30, doubted the occurrence of doriae east of Wallace's line. Jenkins, 1976, considered brunnea as “probably fuliginosa ." See also comments under fuliginosa .
