TYPE LOCALITY: Liberia, Junk River, Schieffelinsville .
DISTRIBUTION: Upper Guinea to Ethiopia; Angola and Kenya to W. Mozambique and E. Zimbabwe.
COMMENT: Includes angolensis, gemmeus, infuscus, Irene , phaeopus, sheppardi, sorella , and sorelloides. See Heim de Balsac and Meester, 1977, Part 1:7—8. Gureev, 1979:381, listed sorella as a distinct species without comment.
