Diagnosis. Body length from moderate to large; antennomere VI in male with apical projection, often with setae on its top; prothorax transverse; sides of prothorax with conical tubercle placed about middle; elytra often with basal tubercle, humeri granulated; elytra with our without dorsal carina. Number of species currently included: 22; in Mexico and Central America : 20.
