Amérique. Unspecified number of Ƌ and ♀.

No specimens found in the MHNG collections. Griffini (1909: 402) considered this species a synonym of G. picta Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888 . He placed a ♀ specimen in the collection under that name, but stated it was not the type of G. atricuLa because the measurements did not match. The whereabouts of the type material is unknown.
