Material examined (new records). KYRGYZSTAN: Kirgizskiy Range , left slope of Kara-Balta River, 4 km below Abla River mouth, 1900–1950 m, 12.VIII.2000, 1 ♀, leg. V. Dubatolov [ ISEN] .
Distribution. Western, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Europe, Russia (European part, Urals, Altai),Azerbaijan, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel and Palestine, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, * Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia.
Remarks. Taxonomic status of the subspecies E. papillarius balticus Blüthgen, 1938 , described from Latvia, and E. papillarius rubricornis Gusenleitner, 1972 , described from Lebanon, is unclear and requires further verification.
